Meltdown and splat is not the name of a law firm. Meltdown and splat does not refer to your brokerage funds or your retirement account. Meltdown and splat, while a great name for a comedy duo or rock band, is neither of those. 

What Meltdown and Splat is, is a dramatic new line that can use your gold to create  one-of-a-kind pendants or earrings. The photo below is not a terrific one, but it gives an idea of the look. Gold is fabricated into a distinctive splatter pattern, and then riveted to oxidized (blackened) silver to 'pop' its fabulous design. 

Each is an individual,  commissioned work of art!

The pieces shown here are 1-3/4 inch and 2-1/2 inch diameter pendants with 14 or 18k gold splatters and oxidized sterling on rubber neckrings.  Each is  $450 (plus tax and S&H, if applicable). However, if we use your gold, the price is only $200 for each piece. 

Plus, you're wearing a green, recycled work of art. It's a great way to repurpose old jewelry, or update items with emotional 'baggage' (wedding rings or eatate items). 

What we need:

About 3 grams of 14 or 18kt gold makes a good splat. That's about the amount in many wedding bands. More means a larger splat, or two (for earrings).
